ONHEALTH

Join onHealth.

Health information is hard to read on purpose. onHealth is the work of making the financial side of it understandable — explanations of benefits, denials, deductibles, and the appeal window nobody knew was open.

What the work is

Canal

A working iOS app being extended to the web. Engineering, design, and the plain-English writing that makes it worth opening twice.

Research

Finding what is actually true about a denial, a deductible or an appeal window before we publish a word of it.

Explaining

Turning what we find into something a person can read while holding the bill it is about.

Who we are looking for

Engineering and design for Canal, research that can read a policy document without flinching, and writers who can explain a deductible to someone who is frightened of it.

onHealth is not a medical service and nothing it produces is medical advice. If that boundary matters to you, it matters to us too — it is the first thing we will talk about.

How this one runs

STEP 1

Apply

One form. Choose onHealth, the kind of work, and the time you genuinely have.

STEP 2

Talk it through

For onHealth we talk before deciding. This work sits close to people at their worst moment, and that deserves a conversation.

STEP 3

We decide

A person reads the application and the conversation together. You hear from us either way.

STEP 4

Welcome

One email with your Microsoft Teams invitation, and a checklist that tracks everything left to do.

Your team is already chosen below. You can add another if more than one fits — it stays one application, one decision, and one conversation.
